01.07 // Serial Cables
Serial cables still enjoy regular use, even although this techno-
logy has been used for years. They are still used especially in
the industrial area for simple data transmission. The cables dif-
fer, on one hand, because of their pin assignment which extends
the different areas of use and because of their construction on
the other hand. The basic cables are provided with low-priced
snap-on caps and can be opened more easily by hobbyists and
handymen. The classical versions on the other hand are more
robust with solid, cast caps. This more professional standard is
underlined with the black colour.
